It's not so much that she hits my kinks, it's that she does it in such a joyous, shamelessly gleeful way. She makes making the hard decisions fun, and silly, and entertaining, and then turns around and makes the consequences of those decisions stick. She makes friends of enemies, and the enemies who won't play nice need new trousers. She fanfics SGA the same way that SGA fanfics every other spaceship/boom/horror/team series ever. The fact that she does it mostly without resorting to McShep is the icing on my cake.
(And I want more Discontinuity, damnit.)
Oh dear. I think that I'm about to fall dead from embarrassed glee at this. Thanks for saying this, it's nice to hear someone say this sort of thing. I do have to make one small, teensy correction though - I'm a man. :D
There will be more Discontinuity, I promise. The lack of fic lately has to do with the fact that I'm writing for several challenges at the moment. They are all set in that universe, though, and one's looking to be 55 to 60 thousand words, so come mid-April and May you should be happy. There may be more comment fic, too.
