My mom just died.

Like, an hour ago?

The police are still here, the medical examiner just showed up, my dad's trying to make arrangements, I've got a towel on my head cause I just took a shower (my second of the day because I forgot I'd had one earlier), and my best friend just left from her home two hours away to come get me.

Life sucks.

She'd had the flu (or at least what we thought was a virus or something) since Thursday. We've tried to get her to the hospital, but she's one damn stubborn woman when it comes to taking care of herself.

The paramedics said there might have been some internal bleeding or blockage somewhere, but we don't know.
